David Elliott (Harm Rabb)
Born in Toronto, Canada, Elliott's initial interest was in music, not acting. At 19, he was singing in a rock band when he read for
King Lear in a theatre history class and was encouraged by his teacher to pursue acting. Elliott took his first step towards his future career when he was accepted into the prestigious
Ryerson Polytechnic. After graduation, Elliott starred in numerous Canadian stage productions, which led to a starring role in the series
Street Legal from 1985-1988.
In 1990, Elliott moved to Los Angeles and was signed on a development deal with Disney. His television career quickly took off when he landed guest-starring roles on series like
Doogie Howser, M.D.,
The Hitchhiker,
Dark Justice and
China Beach.
In 1992, he won a recurring role opposite Nicolette Sheridan in
Knots Landing. Later that year, he starred in
The Untouchables and appeared in a recurring role on
Melrose Place. Additionally, he made a memorable guest appearance as Carl, the Moving Guy, on NBC's hit comedy
Seinfeld.
Elliott's credits also include several telefilms, among them the NBC mini-series
Degree Of Guilt,
Big Dreams and Broken Hearts: The Dottie West Story (in which he played West's alcoholic husband) and the Yuletide-themed remake of
A Holiday Affair.
Elliott is married and has a young daughter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, running and watching old movies.
Catherine Bell (Sarah MacKenzie)
Catherine Bell was born in London and moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was three years old. Bell began her career as an actress by accident. Attending the University of California, Los Angeles, studying to become a doctor, she also modelled part-time.
Following her success with print work and several Los Angeles - based television commercials, Bell interrupted her studies when she was sent to Japan to model for several months.
She then hired an acting coach to help her pursue a new career.
During
JAG's first season, Bell made a brief appearance as a Navy lieutenant, who was then murdered. She joined as the female lead in the second season.
Bell's other television credits include guest starring roles on
Friends,
Dream On,
Misery Loves Company and the popular syndicated series
Hercules. She also appeared in the highly rated CBS telefilm
Cab To Canada and the feature film
Men Of War. Bell starred in the original thriller
The Time Shifters, opposite Casper Van Dien and Martin Sheen, which aired in October 1999.
She speaks fluent Farsi, which she has demonstrated on
JAG, and enjoys skydiving, hiking, kick-boxing and painting. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Adam and their two Italian greyhounds, Leo and Zoe.
John M Jackson (Admiral Chegwidden)
Jackson has appeared in several popular feature films, including
A Few Good Men (in which he played Demi Moore's Navy boss),
A Perfect World with Clint Eastwood,
The Legend Of Billy Jean,
The Hitcher and
Local Hero. More recently, he's appeared in the films
The Glimmer Man with Steven Seagal and the critically acclaimed
Spitfire Grill.
Jackson's television credits include guest-starring roles on the hit drama
Party Of Five,
Northern Exposure,
Dark Skies,
Sisters and a recurring role on
Wiseguy. He's also appeared in several tele films, such as the mini-series
Family Of Spies (in which he also played a naval officer),
Roswell,
Shattered Vows,

Dead Solid Perfect and
Cold Sassy Tree, among others. He also appeared in the Emmy-nominated HBO series

Patrick Labyorteaux (Bud Roberts)
A veteran of film, television and stage, Labyorteaux began his entertainment career at the age of three in a local stage play in Hollywood. As a child, he starred in numerous plays and television commercials, as well as feature films, including
Opening Night, directed by John Cassavetes, and
Mame, in which he played Lucille Ball's grand-nephew Peter. Labyorteaux's film credits include appearances in
Summer School, the cult hit
Heathers,
Ski School,
Terminal Entry and
3 Ninjas.
Labyorteaux recently starred in the FOX sitcom
The Last Frontier but is perhaps most recognisable as Merlin Olsen's son Andy Garvey, in the long-running series
Little House On The Prairie. His television credits also include guest-starring roles on
Lois And Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman,
New York Daze,
Hope And Gloria and
Living Single. He has appeared in the telefilms
Young Joe,
The Forgotten Kennedy,
Prince of Bel Air and the mini-series
Captains and The Kings.
Labyorteaux utilised his strong comedic background to write and perform with Los Angeles' famed Groundlings comedy troupe, in addition to writing the films
National Lampoon's Last Resort and
Hollywood Palms. He has also turned his hand to writing certain episodes of
JAG.
Labyorteaux lives in Los Angeles with wife Tina.
