Richard goes into interrogation mode about a patient's condition, but none of the interns are forthcoming with answers. Callie confronts George about his feelings for her, and Meredith and Derek decide to put Doc to sleep. Meanwhile, the interns have to plan a prom party for Camille and Izzie's happiness is shortlived as Denny succumbs to a
heart stroke.

Deterioration Of The Flight (1) -- June 20, 2007
Izzie and George attend to Denny as the pressure increases to find him a new heart. Derek has the life of a friend in his hands as he operates
on Burke who has been shot. Cristina gets put in charge of the ER and she is worried about Burke and Izzie might face severe consequences for her actions.

17 Seconds -- June 13, 2007
The O.R is full of young kids who were victims of a shoot out. A 12-week pregnant girl dies in the O.R. and her parents try to keep the baby alive. Denny is about to get a heart, but it does not turn out to be easy. Izzie, desperate to get Denny the heart, resorts to an extreme measure.

There is tension between Derek and Addison and Addison has a outburst at Derek. Cristina is mad at Burke for choosing Alex over her for the heart surgery. In this Part 1 of a two-part season finale Burke gets shot outside the hospital and Izzie takes a risky chance with Denny's heart.

Damage Case -- June 6, 2007
The staff attends to an intern, named Marshall, who has caused a car accident that involved a married couple, their unborn baby and the woman's parents who the staff are also treating.

Meanwhile, Burke hasn't forgiven Cristina for her late night faux pas. Meredith and Izzie make fun of Callie's household habits. Denny has an outburst at Izzie and Derek has an outburst at Meredith.

Blues for Sister Someone -- May 30, 2007
Addison's patient is a Catholic mother of seven, who wants her tubes tied without her husband's knowledge. Derek treats a divorce attorney who is having seizures. Alex gets in trouble with Addison yet again for not being able to keep his mouth shut.

A legendary concert violinist who had a Pacemaker that was installed by Dr. Burke refuses to see medical reason. The musician also happens to be Burke's musical hero. Finn cooks for Meredith, while Addison and Derek try to re-energize their love life.

Under Pressure -- May 16, 2007
This one-hour special episode reviews the trials and triumphs of Seattle Grace's young hopefuls -- Meredith and her fellow interns. We find out everything from the interns first day to the mischief of the last episode.

The Name Of The Game -- May 9, 2007
Meredith and Izzie take up knitting. Derek operates on Andrew, a spelling bee champ with a serious head injury. Meredith learns that she has a sister. When Alex fails to bite his tongue when a patient routinely lies to her daughter about her health, he gets a lesson in bedside manners from Burke.

Meanwhile, George begins to overstay his welcome at Burke's apartment. Izzie knits a sweater for Denny and they play more naughty-Scrabble and Meredith meets a veterinarian named Finn.

Superstition -- May 2, 2007
When a series of deaths occur at Seattle Grace, the uncanny events bring out the doctors' superstitious sides and make Izzie nervous about Denny's surgery. Meanwhile, Derek and Addison discuss making a more permanent living arrangement, and Richard treats a very special friend.

Band Aid Cover The Bullet Hole -- April 25, 2007
It becomes a bad day for Cristina, when Bailey instructs her to take care of her baby. Meanwhile, Derek and Addison come to terms with their relationship, and Denny continues to be an obstacle for Alex.

What Have I Done To Deserve This? -- April 18, 2007
Meredith and George are experiencing morning-after tension at home and at work. Meanwhile, Bailey, although technically still on maternity leave, finds herself treating Addison for an unusual feminine issue. Alex finds himself oddly jealous when Izzie pays more attention to Denny.

Yesterday -- April 11, 2007
Someone from Derek and Addison's past arrives in Seattle and shakes things up. Burke learns about Christina's secret and, after a visit to her mother, Meredith looks into more of her family's dirty laundry.

As We Know It (2) -- April 4, 2007
Despite the best efforts of the Seattle Grace staff, the code black situation escalates. Derek is still operating when he finds out about Meredith's current situation. Webber and Bailey are dealing with medical health issues.

Cristina and Izzie have their own issues to deal with because of Meredith's situation and Addison freaks out, when George tries to find a solution to Bailey's impromtu postponement.

It's The End Of The World (1) -- March 28, 2007
Meredith's fears that she is in for a bad day are realized, when an explosive case arrives at the O.R. that might endanger the lives of the people working there, which leads Dr. Burke to declare a "Code Black" for the hospital. Meanwhile, Bailey worries about her husband, as she goes into labor.

Break On Through -- March 7, 2007
The nurses at Seattle Grace Hospital go on strike, leaving the doctors to fend for themselves. Meredith's mistake in treating an elderly patient is brought to light by the patient's friends and Izzie treats a pregnant teen.

Tell Me Sweet Little Lies -- February 28, 2007
The truth is in short supply, as Meredith and Cristina lie to each other about their relationships. George is given a hard task of expelling a discharged and defiant woman from the hospital. Alex learns his fate after re-taking his medical exams. George, Cristina, and Alex compete in a hot dog eating competition.

Begin the Begin -- February 14, 2007
Izzie seems to be getting over Alex, when she shares an undeniable chemistry with Denny Duquette, a patient who's awaiting a heart transplant. Meanwhile, George treats Bex, a young teen hermaphrodite.

The holiday season has started, but not everyone is in a festive mood. It is Alex's last day in the hospital, unless he passes his boards practical exam the next day, so everyone is helping him. Derek tells Addison that he fell in love with Meredith.

Owner of a Lonely Heart -- January 24, 2007
Cristina has little sympathy for Constance Ferguson, a prison inmate who jeopardizes her health just to get out of solitary confinement. Meanwhile the interns keep careful watch on the family of premature quintuplets with a variety of serious health challenges.

Much Too Much -- January 17, 2007
Dorie Russell is waiting for quintuplets, all 5 girls and all the departments are on call for the quintuplets as three of them have developed problems of different kinds.

Meredith last night's stand shows up at the hospital with priapism and they need to call Derek for a consult which puts Meredith in a very embarrassing position. Cristina is thrown off course by being "keyed".

Thanks for the Memories -- January 10, 2007
It's Thanksgiving at Seattle Grace, but the holiday festivities are less than in order. Meredith and Derek work on a patient, who has been unconcious for the last 16 years. Izzie is planning a big get-together, but the RSVP isn't going so well. George goes turkey-hunting with his family.

Let It Be -- January 3, 2007
Meredith tries to avoid the Shepherds. Cristina and Burke go out on a date and end up getting caught up in their jobs. Derek and Addison take sides, when their closest friends come in for a controversial surgery.

Something To Talk About -- December 27, 2006
Cristina, Izzie and Meredith take care of Shane, a man who claims to be pregnant. Shane's case induces a spreading fascination among the staff. Cristina and Burke discuss about disclosing their relationship, while Derek and Addison go to couple's counseling.

Into You Like A Train -- December 20, 2006
Train wreck victims come to Seattle Grace and all staff gets called in. Derek okays Webber for surgery, while Addison and Izzie work with a pregnant woman. Two people are caught in a coin flip situation, when they get impaled by the same pole.

Meredith and Derek must convince a man to allow his daughter to have an operation. Meanwhile, Ellis is reliving her love affair with Richard.

As Cristina tries to recover, she proves to be a very difficult patient, and a visit from her mother doesn't improve anything. Meredith's mother, has the hospital staff running in circles and Derek has second thoughts about signing the divorce papers.

Cristina and Meredith try to figure out if Cristina should tell Burke that she's pregnant, right before Cristina faces an emergency. Alex and Izzie get closer, while Meredith's mother gets too close. Relationships are revealed among older members of the staff and George gets a tough assignment.

The season picks up where the last episode left off. Meredith attempts to work with Addison Shepherd. George is pimped out to relay the hospital gossip back to Webber.

Meredith and Cristina go to Emerald City Bar, where they discuss what dating their respective attendings is like. Cristina ponders her relationship with Burke, while trying to make a decision and Meredith is devastated by the latest blow to her love life.
