David Hasselhoff (Mitch Buchanan)
For anyone who's a fan of the most-watched lifeguards in the world, David Hasselhoff is
Baywatch, and, more recently,
Baywatch Hawaii.
This blue-eyed Baltimore native is one of the most recognisable faces on television. He's been named one of "TV's Ten Most Powerful Stars" by
TV Guide, and "Most Watched TV Star" by
The Guinness Book of World Records.
Hasselhoff is not only the star and an executive producer of
Baywatch, but is also a director, an accomplished singer, and a popular international recording artist.
His first TV role was as Dr Snapper Foster on
The Young and The Restless. He followed this with
Knight Rider.
Baywatch debuted on NBC in 1989. Hasselhoff and his partners acquired the rights to the show in 1991.

He's been called one of the "sexiest men on television". The youngest of three children, Jason spent the majority of his childhood in Los Angeles. He had meant to go in for a life of entrepreneurship and sales, but found it boring after a while.
He discovered a penchant for acting, and has been gracing TV serials with his very watchable presence ever since.
A versatile performer, he has worked in film, television, and theatre, as well as stand-up comedy. He is most recognised for his three-year stint on

Michael Bergin (Jack "J D" Darius)
Michael Bergin, also known as J D, is universally recognised for his perfect looks. It's no surprise, then, that he's an ex-model!
A graduate from the University of Connecticut, Michael has a degree in business marketing. He has modelled for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and Donna Karan, and has appeared in commercials and print advertisements for Kellogg's, Bacardi Rum, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Coty, Valentino, Perry Ellis, and Liz Claiborne. He's also worked as a correspondent for
E! Entertainment Television and
Entertainment Tonight.
His movie credits include Merchant Ivory's
The Proprietor and a recurring role on Darren Starr's
Central Park West. Recent films include
Closing the Deal, Starforce and
The Broken Hearts Club, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2000.

Stacy Kamano stars as the sexy Hawaiian lifeguard Kekoa Tanaka. Born and raised in Honolulu, Stacy is a cocktail of Japanese, German, Russian and Polish origins. She has spent considerable time behind the camera as a successful model and actress.
A favourite face and body for commercials, posters, calendars, catalogues and international designers, Stacy found her reputation soaring as soon as she joined
Baywatch Hawaii. She is incredibly popular, and her posters and photos are available everywhere - her personal website, the Internet, books and magazines. She is also featured as one of the best Hawaiian models in the book
Hawaii: Heaven on Earth.
She has had guest-starring roles on
Fantasy Island and
Beverly Hills 90210.
